Edit Macro Dialog is the dialog used to modify a macro or to define a new macro.

Macro name - your name for the macro
Hot key - choose the hot key you want to use to execute this macro and press that keypress while the text cursor is blinking in this text box. This keypress will automatically be spelled out in this text box. To change it, simply press on another key combination. Action type - select the type of action you want this macro to perform
Action specifics lets you define the parameters for each action type:
Paste text
Record/play keystrokes
Autoreplace text
Execute a program
Launch web browser
Sound volume control
CD Player
Open a folder
Windows manipulations
Dial-up networking
Shutdown Windows
Reminder
Menu
SmartAdd
Execute if -
Always - this macro will always be executed when its hot key is pressed
Window title contains- this macro will be executed only when the active window's title contains the user-defined string
Window title doesn't contain - this macro will be executed only if the title of the active window does not contain the defined string

Tip

you can specify different window titles in Execute If by using a semicolon ( ; ) to separate them.

Example

Execute If

Window title contains - "mydocs; homerepairs; letters_from_home".
